A Portrait Of Beauty

This morning I would like to introduce you to Bora. I met Bora while working with @pappyorion on assignment with @womenforwomen and @johnacoby in the DR Congo where she works as a coffee producer.

For you and me, coffee is a luxury that helps us get through the day. For Bora, coffee means a better livelihood for herself and her family.

Through the @womenforwomen program, Bora has had the opportunity to not only learn about coffee production, but also learn many new life skills. Since graduating this program, Bora has opened a coffee business with other women in her community, growing and selling coffee beans together. This is providing an ongoing source of income which in turn creates a stable environment for her family.

This is a proud woman. This is a strong woman. This is a woman who creates hope. This is the future of Congo.

What do you see in the portrait of this strong and beautiful CONGOLESE woman? Comment below 👇
