Thoughts on 10 years with a Camera

It’s been 10 years since my amazing wife, @anita_v_ukraina encouraged me to quit the job I hated and to apply to study photography. It was a big step for me to leave the security of work for the unknown of study and the life of a freelancer.

Now 10 years on, there are still plenty of challenges, but me and this little camera of mine have got to travel to some pretty amazing parts of this world. We have met and photographed some of the most inspirational and amazing people. I have got to work alongside people, from all over the world who are passionate about making the world better, bringing hope to the hopeless, giving a voice to the voiceless, and showing the inherent beauty of every single person.

It’s incredibly fulfilling to love what I do. To be excited about my last assignment, passionate about my current assignment, and full of expectation for my next assignment.

Thankyou to everyone who has followed along with me somehow on this journey. Thankyou to my wife and family who support me, send me off with love, prayers, and kisses and welcome me home with joy. And especially a huge thanks to everyone who has trusted me to tell their story and who have become vulnerable in front of my lens!

It’s such a privilege to share this adventure with you all!
