Making a Photograph with a Narrative.

As a visual storyteller, I desire the photographs that I make to have a narrative and a purpose. As much as beauty is in an amazing image, even more so for me it’s in the person and narrative behind the photo.

There is something almost unquantifiable that takes a photo from being a portrait of a person, to capturing a true moment in their life. That is the substance I am always asking for when making images of the people as organisations I get to work with.

Tell me in the comments what this image says to you. What story is it communicating?
Thanks to @johndavidsonco, @uncommonway, @impactafrica for having me along to help tell your stories from Johannesburg, South Africa!
