Artisan Baking in the villages of Congo

It’s exciting to see the way a vocation can bring change to a person and family. Here in a small village in the DR Congo, this lady has been able to start her own bakery where she can bake bread to sell in and around her village.

The ability to work and earn money for her family not only provides for their financial needs, but brings joy, hope, and a sense of worth. This brings such a positive change and helps to create a healthy environment to live and raise her children.

We were visiting this village with @focuscongo and capturing stories with @pappyoriomedia. The more I see of this country, the more I love it. Can bit wait to get back to the DRC layer this year!
