Summer time in Georgia finds many Azeri Shepherds living in camps with their flocks to escape the heat and lack of feed in their villages in the plains. Scattered throughout the mountains are camps ranging from one to a dozen tents. This routine has been almost unchanged for centuries. The challenges and hard work are only matched by the beauty of the landscape and the picturesque scene that is created. #photography #images #ryancarterimages #sheep #shepherd #flock #farm #sunset #sunrise #light #nikon #d800 #Georgia #azeri #travel #travelphotography #tradition #assignment #culture
